Farewell Beloved Summer

Summer weather, like being in love, is a philosopher's stone which turns our ordinary days to gold. But not the whole days. . .For it is never the whole day, never all our life which is transformed in any happiness, but only the exquisite moments. - Nan Fairbrother

Summer is over- we're saying goodbye to...

flipflops

mosquito bites

no schedule at all

the lake

playing with cousins

bbq's

painted toes

popsicles

bags and bags of B.C. cherries

scraped knees

campfires

bare legs

raspberry bushes

sun-hats

bubbles

spray parks

late nights

sleeping in

festivals

sandy feet

hammocks

lemonade stands

garden peas and tomatoes

9pm sunsets

procrastination

sun dresses

outdoor showers

summer salads

sidewalk chalk

our picnic blanket

icecream cones

Endless outdoor fun

heavenly hot weather

We'll miss you summer, more than you know!

What are you saying goodbye to?
